Expanding child care takes more than adding programs

February 12, 2021 (prerecorded 2/8/21) - Last year, the Vermont Legislature passed a bill to help expand early education and child care. But, as the pandemic has demonstrated, Vermont's child care system is still full of holes. Rep. Emilie Kornheiser co-wrote bill H.171 to expand access to quality child care. Guest Chole Learey of The Winston Prouty Center for Child and Family Development weighs in on the issues facing families.
