Online sports betting in Vermont
March 3, 2023 (prerecorded 2/27): The Legislature is considering a bill to legalize and regulate online sports betting. According to recent reports, approximately 140,000 Vermonters have accessed (or tried to) sports betting sites in other states where betting is legal. But, opponents have raised concerns about a potential increase in gambling addictions. Rep. Mike McCarthy joins today's conversation.
